Dogs are the most loyal beings on Earth

Dogs possess unquestionable loyalty. They have proven time and time again that they love unconditionally. Furthermore, they also suffer silently when their loved ones experience pain or pass away.

Dogs are the most loyal beings on earth

Take for example Sully, the service dog of the late George HW Bush, 41st president of the United States of America. According to a report by BBC News, Sully, a Labrador, has been seen resting beside Mr. Bush’s coffin during tribute. It had also been reported that Sully traveled with the casket from Texas to Washington and back.

For loyal dogs such as Sully, the best way to repay their good souls would be of course to take good care of them by feeding them right, giving them a warm and decent home, providing them enough exercise and playtime, and basically just making them feel loved and appreciated at all times. If they are sick, bring them immediately to the vet and give them enough water and medicine.

Make sure also that they are well-bathed and free from fleas and other parasites. Dogs are at their most uncomfortable state when they are itching all over. Their sleep is disturbed when they are bitten from pesky parasites so ensure that they are given anti-tick medication when you notice the first signs of infestation.

When you are unable to take them out, ensure that you pat their head or they are given a belly rub. Make them feel that you care for them and that they are part of the family. Allow them inside your house by the fire if there is snow outside.

If the time comes that they would have to go and cross the rainbow bridge, be at their side. According to veterinarians, dogs suffer the most when their owners are not by their side when they are dying.

How about you? How do you show your care for your loyal friend?
